The power from the solar cells should amount to 20 megawatts and the electricity generation capacity to 18 gigawatt hours, which corresponds to 7,500 apartments' electricity use in one year. Sweden's largest plant today, Svea Solar's solar park in Sjöbo in Skåne, has an estimated annual production of 6.3 gigawatt hours.
Construction of the solar park will be started in March and it is expected to be able to supply electricity at the end of the summer.
