“Of course, I am a little worried, still worried, glad that finally came the day that they were waiting for. Glad we will fly home. I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who took part, helped, supported us at such a difficult moment for our family, ”he told RT at Chopin Airport in Warsaw.

Lisov also thanked his lawyers and the Polish authorities for their support.

“I would like to say more about the Swedish authorities. They objectively approached our situation and therefore a misunderstanding arose, ”he suggested.

Sofia's eldest daughter, Sofia, said that she was very happy to be back home.

“We left Khabarovsk exactly 7 years and 7 months ago and are now returning,” she emphasized.

Earlier, a court in Poland opposed the extradition of Lisov.

A man took his three daughters out of the Scandinavian country, where they lived in a foster family. Lisov himself noted in a conversation with RT that he was happy with the verdict and was awaiting a decision on obtaining a residence permit in Poland.

Lisov was detained on April 1 at the Warsaw airport when he was waiting for departure to Moscow.

The judge decided to remove the arrest from Lisov in order to prevent the extradition of the Russian and his separation from his family. In Sweden, the Russians face punishment - four years in prison.
