Nine Filipino hostages, all members of the crew of a boat, were kidnapped and taken away by unknown captors on Saturday, November 2 at the port of Cotonou. The ship was attacked in the wharf area of ​​Cotonou harbor by armed pirates 16 kilometers from the port's entrance passes.
