Turkish security forces arrested seven ISIS operatives during a security operation against ISIL cells in five Turkish cities.

The Turkish Interior Ministry said in a statement on Sunday that among those arrested in charge of training camps belonging to the organization, the Anatolia news agency that he was arrested in the Ottoman province of southern Turkey.

The detainee was in charge of training camps that saw between 1,500 and 2,000 members of the organization trained each year, the ministry said.

Two of those arrested were responsible for supplying weapons, equipment and logistics, as well as sending foreign fighters into conflict zones, the statement said.

Since the death of former ISIL leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi a week ago in a US security operation in Barisha village of Idlib countryside, Turkish security forces have carried out security raids inside Turkey that have resulted in the arrest of several ISIS suspects.

Before that, the Turkish army arrested other suspects in areas covered by the operation "spring of peace" east of the Euphrates River in northeastern Syria.

In his remarks yesterday, Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said that his country is not a hotel for ISIS nationals of other countries, and that it would return the prisoners of the organization detained in their countries.
