The jihadist group claimed responsibility for a bomb attack that killed a French soldier on Saturday morning in Mali.

The Islamic State (IS) has claimed a bomb attack that killed a French soldier on Saturday morning in Mali, in a region where the Malian army had suffered a deadly attack the day before. "Caliphate soldiers have targeted a convoy of French forces vehicles (...) near Indelimane, in the region of Menaka, by triggering an explosive device," says the IS in a statement signed "Province Africa from the West, "published on its Telegram channels.
