Currently, there are 150 existing municipal summer jobs in Falkenberg, but the budget proposal states that 40 new summer jobs will be added, for high school students.

- We want all young people in the municipality to have the chance to test working at the municipality. The self-interest in this is that in the future we will also need more summer jobs with us in the various operations, says Per Svensson (S) municipal council chairman.

The new summer jobs will be distributed among the municipality's various activities, but with predominant services in, among other things, elderly care and preschool.

- Young people should see that there is the opportunity to earn their own money for their work, and that there are great chances of getting a job within the municipality if you only attend school, says Per Svensson (S).

The rest of Future Falkenberg's budget proposal for 2020-2022 will be next week.
