02 November 201922.12 Isis claimed responsibility for the latest attacks on the military in Mali: yesterday's attack against a local troop station, which caused 53 deaths, and that of a French soldier killed this morning. The 'Site', the monitoring site of the 'jihadist world', reports this. Both attacks were launched in the north-eastern region of Menaka, near the border with Niger. ISIS has attacked "elements of the infidel Malian army", we read. And there is talk of "clashes with different types of weapons".
