“The boy was buried, the funeral was in complete silence, people were crying,” Galina Gulyaeva, commissioner for children's rights in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug (NAO), told TASS.
According to her, along with the relatives of the deceased, a psychologist supporting the family was present at the ceremony.
Gulyaeva also called the family of the boy killed in kindergarten complete and prosperous, the sister of the deceased is a schoolgirl, a fourth-grade student.
It is specified that the administration of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug took upon itself all expenses for organizing a farewell and funeral.
It is noted that until Monday, November 4, inclusive, all recreational activities in the region have been canceled, in the territory of the Kindergarten "Fairy Tale" residents lay flowers and toys at the spontaneous memorial.
On October 31, a 36-year-old man who was intoxicated entered the kindergarten and killed a six-year-old boy with a knife.
According to preliminary information, he was registered in a drug dispensary as a chronic alcoholic.
On November 1, the suspect was arrested; in Naryan-Mar, a farewell to the murdered child took place.
Later it became known about the detention for two months of a kindergarten guard who let the killer into his territory, having accepted, according to the investigation, a suspect for a relative of one of the institution’s pupils.
