He believes that a new war may be similar to past conflicts.
“As in the past, the war will begin because of the desire of countries directing economic development not to lose or expand their dominance and control over resources,” he writes.
At the same time, according to the Pamukoglu theory, such a war from the point of view of geography would not affect South America and Africa.
He suggests that based on the fact that in two world wars Russia was an ally of Britain and America, in the event of a new war Russia will again be an ally of the United States.
“The spark from which the powder ignites can ignite an incident somewhere at the border post, the destruction of an airplane, the flooding of a fishing vessel, a terrorist attack, an attempt and any other unimaginable incident,” the retired general believes.
However, he does not exclude that the cause of the conflict "may be an event that does not even happen in reality, but will be presented as real."
