BANGKOK (Reuters) - A Bangkok burger restaurant caused an uproar online after the owner decided to give 10,000 baht ($ 330) to anyone who can finish a giant burgers meal weighing about six kilograms in nine minutes.
YouTube users began to challenge each other for a meal covered with fried onion rings, bacon and mayonnaise.
The owner of the restaurant, Comdec Kungswan, is the country's largest burgers sandwich, and says the idea of creating the challenge came after three customers were able to accomplish the difficult task and eat the meal on time, and that the shop receives new competitors every day.
A giant burgers sandwich costs 2,500 baht ($ 82.75), while 3,500 baht ($ 115.86) is made from pork.
