Guinea-Bissau has two governments since Thursday. A new team has been invested by President José Mário Vaz. But the government of Aristides Gomes, Prime Minister sacked earlier this week, does not intend to give way. Its members went to work as if nothing was happening today at the government palace.

Armando Mango is at his post. In his office, the minister, the government spokesperson, is working " as usual, " he says. For him, the appointment of a new team Thursday by President José Mário Vaz is a " no event ".

" You call him president, for us he is a candidate in the presidential election, he says. The government is there, we all work and we lead the normal life of a government. "

Yet there are fewer people than usual at the government palace, which houses several ministries. Offices have remained empty, most agents do not wish to speak at the microphone. " Some officials are scared, " says a manager. Fear of what could happen if the new team comes to settle, when he takes office next Monday.

" The question does not even arise. The government is that government. If someone happens to occupy the offices, we are there, as a government. We will not let ourselves go . "Regarding a potential use of force," we continue to believe that we are adults, "says the minister.

For now, no particular military presence, but the usual one - the force of the ECOWAS responsible for protecting the official buildings.

Delegation of ECOWAS

The ECOWAS- media maker in the crisis - dispatched a ministerial delegation, part of which arrived this Friday evening in Bissau. The head of delegation, the Nigerien Minister of Foreign Affairs, is expected Saturday evening. The delegation asked to be received Sunday in audience by the president.

In a statement, the United States in turn denounce the dismissal of Prime Minister Aristides Gomes by President José Mário Vaz, and fully support the " legitimate " government to lead the country to the presidential election. The United States also welcomes the efforts of the government of Aristides Gomes in the fight against drug trafficking.

It bores us, it's discouraging. Every day, the same problems. In the end, you can not even know what's going on ...
