“Immediately felt the tremors”

Passengers of an emergency landing plane expressed the opinion that the crew competently acted during an emergency. As TASS was told by one of the passengers traveling from Tyumen to St. Petersburg, tremors in the cabin could be felt even during takeoff.

“During acceleration, when the aircraft was separated from the runway, they immediately felt tremors ... This was repeated several times, five to six. The plane climbed and braked immediately. Then we realized that he had ceased to gain altitude, these tremors had stopped, ”a passenger named Andrei Makarov quoted TASS as saying.

He praised the actions of the crew, noting the work of stewardesses and the aircraft commander. According to Makarov, they all reacted calmly to the situation.

“The stewardesses worked very competently, they gave all the instructions when landing, the crew commander made recommendations ... The commander said that we are producing fuel and are returning to Roshchino.” We did not see flames, ”the passenger said.

It should be noted that seven passengers of the Tyumen – St. Petersburg flight decided not to continue the flight and collect money for the tickets, the airport’s inquiry service told RIA Novosti.

Recall that in 2019 there was one of the most famous cases of emergency landing in the history of world aviation.

On Thursday, August 15, an Ural Airlines Airbus A321 plane flew from Zhukovsky Airport near Moscow to Simferopol. On board were 233 people, including the crew. Shortly after takeoff, the airliner collided with a flock of seagulls, birds got into the engines and interrupted their work.

The aircraft was controlled by commander Damir Yusupov and co-pilot Georgy Murzin. Pilots said that they originally intended to turn around and sit in Zhukovsky, but there was not enough time to maneuver, and they had to land right in the corn field. The plane was planted directly on the "belly", but everything ended well.

The heroism and high skill of the crew was noted by the passengers of the aircraft, as well as representatives of the public and officials. Subsequently, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the pilots of an emergency landing liner the title of Heroes of Russia, and awarded the remaining members of the team with the Order of Courage.
