As TASS clarifies, the resolution officially supports the initiated investigations into Trump's actions.

The approved document requires the committees for intelligence, financial services, foreign affairs, supervision and reform, income and expenses, and legal to continue such investigations.

Earlier it was reported that the House of Representatives on October 31 will vote on a resolution regarding the Trump impeachment procedure.

In September, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced the impeachment of the US president.

This decision was explained by the alleged pressure on President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during a telephone conversation in July.
