“During the Bars-2019 bilateral Russian-Serbian tactical exercise held in the Astrakhan region, the crews of the MiG-29SMT fighters destroyed more than 10 air targets,” the Defense Ministry press service reported to RIA Novosti.
It is noted that the military also worked out launches of unguided rockets and cannon fire at ground targets at the Ashuluk training ground.
Earlier it was reported that at the Pasulyansk-Levada military training ground, joint Russian-Serbian air defense exercises “Slavic Shield - 2019” are being held. During the firing, the combat calculations of the Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and cannon systems destroyed two air and two ground targets that mimic the conditional enemy’s equipment.
