On the afternoon of Monday, October 28, police were called to Stortorget in central Falkenberg after an alarm about an abuse. One person must have had a stab injury to the leg and had to be taken by ambulance to hospital.
Later in the afternoon, the police were able to arrest two men, and initially the incident was classified as serious abuse.
On Thursday morning, the two men were arrested and were arrested for suspicion of attempted murder. The reason why they are being arrested is because there is a risk that the suspects will try to remove evidence or in some other way make the investigation more difficult.
