“The violence in recent days as a result of clashes between security forces and demonstrators using excessive force, tear gas and stones resulted in the deaths of 100 people and injuries of another 5.5 thousand demonstrators and representatives of the security forces,” the commission said on Facebook.

Earlier it became known that the Iraqi authorities again imposed a curfew in Baghdad because of the ongoing protests.

On October 26, it was reported that since the riots began, the number of victims amounted to almost 200 people, thousands were injured.
