It was in February that it started to burn in a corporate and industrial premises next to the Knalleland shopping center in Borås. The fire became very extensive.

No persons were injured in the fire. But the total damage cost is estimated to be around SEK 120 million.

"This is the biggest fire we have had this decade," says Andreas Leandersson, Head of Department Protection and Society at Södra Älvsborg's Rescue Services Association.

An external investigator has now looked at the incident and the rescue operation. According to the investigator, there are things that the emergency services could have done differently.
