“The request of convicted Loshagin to be replaced with a milder sentence under Article 80 of the Criminal Code of Russia was denied,” RIA Novosti quoted the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office.
Earlier in Nizhny Tagil, the mother of the murdered model, Yulia Prokopieva, refused a settlement with Loshagin.
According to the investigation, on the night of August 23, 2013, as a result of a quarrel, a drunken photographer killed his wife, after which he took his body to the forest and left it near the highway.
