October 29, 201919.32 No vote for 16-year-olds and 17-year-olds in the upcoming British elections and not even for EU citizens. This was decided by the deputy speaker of the Municipalities, Lindsay Hoyle, declaring the amendments presented in this regard in the debate on the law for the convocation of the political vote anticipated in the United Kingdom, in December, to be ineligible. Hoyle instead admitted to the vote the amendment promoted as the first signatory by Labor leader Corbyn, which proposes December 9 for the elections, instead of 12 as indicated by the government.
