The Pentagon reported a telephone conversation between the heads of the General Staffs of the United States and Russia

“The Chairman of the Committee of Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milli, had a telephone conversation with the Chief of the General Staff of Russia, General Valery Gerasimov, on Friday, October 25,” a statement from TASS quoted the statement as saying.

It is clarified that the parties agreed not to disclose specific details of the conversation "in accordance with previous practice."

In early October, telephone conversations of the heads of the Russian and US Defense Ministries Sergei Shoigu and Mark Esper were reported, as well as a conversation between the heads of the General Staffs of both countries.
