The notice of proposal for working-level talks was sent by the Ministry of Unification and Hyundai Asan to the North Asia-Pacific Peace Committee and Mt. Kumgang International Tourism Bureau.

The government said in a working meeting that it would discuss tourism issues on Mt. Kumgang, including those raised by the North, and notified the tour operators to accompany them.

Hyundai Asan proposed to the North to discuss the new development direction of Mt. Kumgang district along with the issues raised by the North in a separate notice.

The government just said it did not propose a specific date and place for the talks.

The Ministry of Unification said that unilateral measures on corporate property rights need to be reasonably resolved through sufficient consultation between the two Koreas, as they can be placed in public sentiment and undermine inter-Korean relations.

He also stressed that the government's consistent stance is that all issues of inter-Korean relations should be resolved through dialogue and consultation.
