by Tiziana Di Giovannandrea October 28, 2019Not yet it is possible to completely clarify the context in which the murder of Luca Sacchi in the Appio Latino district of Rome was consummated. The investigating judge of Rome has validated the arrest of both Valerio Del Grosso and Paolo Pirino, asserting that there are few doubts: the will to kill is "indisputable".

However, there are still some obscure points to be clarified.

The mystery of the backpack
First of all, it is about knowing where the wads of money, from 20 and 50 euros, ended up in the backpack of Anastasia Kylemnyk, the girlfriend of Luca Sacchi, and that were not found. Anastasia has always said that the money she had inside the backpack that was stolen from Valerio Del Grosso and Paolo Pirino contained her baby-sitting salary.

According to investigators, however, the girl would have had more than two thousand euros in cash in her backpack. At present the money was not found. The investigators retrieved the backpack on Del Grosso's suggestion but it was empty.

Who has brought contact with the pushers arrived from San Basilio
Instead, it would have been ascertained who brought contact with the pushers from San Basilio, "an intimate knowledge" of Luca Sacchi who first met with the mediators of Valerio Del Grosso, the young man who shot Sacchi.

In the order issued by the judge, a series of witnesses are cited which reconstruct hours and minutes before the attack. From the words of those who were in via Mommsen it emerges that the "contact" with the pusher network operated by Del Grosso was a friend of Sacchi: a convict for drug crimes who had come into contact with drug dealers that evening in search of a quantity of marijuana. One of the witnesses said that "at the time of the explosion of the gunshot" he was also present in the pub but he left "before the arrival of the Carabinieri". The same man is quoted by two other people: a witness reported that, "commissioned by Del Grosso to check if people in the Tuscolana area had the money to buy, as agreed, the" goods "he met in via Latina at 9.30 pm "the intimate friend" of Sacchi "to whom he presented himself as an envoy of Valerio".

The judge then remembers that "in that context, a woman had left a backpack" with money divided "in bundles of 20 and 50 euros". Having ascertained the presence of money, the girl (this is Anastasia, Sacchi's girlfriend) ed. "Had taken the backpack back as Del Grosso arrived immediately, talking" with Sacchi's friend "about" grass "that he would pick up to take her on site". This reconstruction was confirmed by a second witness.
