At 4.30 pm the police were alerted to Drottninggatan due to a brawl. A person must have been found injured on Drottninggatan between the intersection of Nygatan and St Persgatan and he was taken by ambulance to hospital, the injury situation is unclear.
- I do not know what it is about injuries, says Erik Terneborn, adding that he has not received any indications that it must have been a gunshot.
One person was arrested nearby and the police have launched a preliminary investigation into attempted murder.
- It is unclear what happened on the site. The crime scene is blocked off and it has happened centrally during a time when many people were moving in the area. So we remain on the scene and talk to witnesses, says Erik Terneborn.
