It was on July 16, 2018, that a man of his 20s was murdered in the district of Rosengård in Malmö. According to the indictment, the 22-year-old man, who is written in Gävle, must have driven a moped and shot the 20-year-old in the head.

Later, the police found the moped fired. The murder weapon, which had the 22-year-old's DNA on it, could also be secured at the scene.

Prosecuted for additional shots

The 22-year-old is also prosecuted for grossly unlawful threats, as according to the lawsuit application he should have fired shots at another man.

In the other, he is being charged with serious weapons offense, since he should have handled the weapon the day before.

A 29-year-old man is being prosecuted at the same time for assisting with murder. According to the lawsuit, the man must have provided the moped used by the perpetrator at the time of the murder.

The trial begins November 11.
