Sunday's weather will be rainy in the north and variable south of France, according to Météo-France forecasts. A disturbance from the west will progress slowly to the east and center of the country. In the morning, it will rain lightly from southern Brittany and Pays de la Loire to the Paris region, Hauts de France and Champagne-Ardenne.
Then, shimmering clearings will return near the Channel, but the wind will swing to the northeastern sector and will significantly cool the atmosphere. In the afternoon the light rains will reach the Center and Lorraine, a few drops overflow on the Charentes, the north of the Massif Central, Burgundy-Franche-Comté and Alsace.
Clear sky in Provence and Corsica
From the Southwest to the Alps, the sky will be bright despite some banks of high clouds coming from the north. Some morning mists in the Garonne and Rhone valley will soon be dissipated. On the other hand, on the Roussillon side and the Languedoc coastline, maritime entrances of low clouds will mask the sun in the morning, they will partially break up in the afternoon. From Provence to Corsica, the sky will be clear.
The minimum temperatures will range from 6 to 12 degrees in general, up to 17 near the Mediterranean. The maximum will be between 11 and 15 degrees in the north-west quarter of the country, ranging from 16 to 20 degrees north-east to the Massif Central, and 20 to 24 degrees south.
