A new human independence tide marched through the streets of Barcelona on Saturday. They were 350,000 according to the local police to demand the release of their former leaders.

Just two weeks before new parliamentary elections, the head of the socialist government refuses to negotiate. In the late evening, hundreds of protesters then gathered in front of the police headquarters and some clashes erupted without major incidents. Next week officially begins the electoral campaign in Spain and Catalonia will undoubtedly be at the center of the electoral debates.
