December 20, 2018The Federal Chamber of the Buenos Aires court confirmed the indictment of the former president and current senator Cristina Kirchner, asking for her preventive arrest for 'illicit association', accused of having run a structure from the top of the state for the collection of illegal funds. The freezing of money equivalent to 34,000 euros was also set against him.

The proceeding concerns a judicial process coordinated by the federal judge Claudio Bonadio and known as the 'cause of the bribes' books.

The magistrate now intends to ask the Senate to waive the senator's immunity, clarifying that Kirchner's arrest would be necessary to avoid a possible pollution of the evidence.
