Earlier, the Supreme Court of Kyrgyzstan recognized the deprivation of Atambayev's immunity as legal.

The former head of Kyrgyzstan is suspected of involvement in five crimes.

Atambayev was detained on August 8 during an assault on his residence by security forces.
