Boris Johnson wants new elections - threatens 'strike-like methods'

Jeremy Corbyn has previously announced that he would like to support a new election if he gets guarantees that it will not be a hard Brexit - ie an exit without an agreement. According to Sky News, he also wants to await a message from the EU about Brexit extension, which is expected to come next week.

Now the government announces that it will work hard to get a new election, for example by simply presenting the issue of new elections in Parliament, so that nothing else can be debated.

“Nothing will be presented in Parliament except the absolute most necessary. We will push for new elections every day thereafter and do everything possible to get it, ”a spokesman for the Prime Minister told Sky News.

For Labor, the question of new elections is extremely difficult, as the party could have less influence.
