One week before New Year's Eve, the family had buried their husband, son and brother: Niklas Andersson. Peter Andersson quickly gets tears in his eyes when he talks about the funeral and what it was like to lift the heavy coffin.

- It was not he who would lie there. It gets in the wrong order somehow. It is difficult to describe how it hurts when standing there and lifting the coffin.

"The kit in the family"

34-year-old Niklas Andersson was the youngest of the family. They describe him as the team player, the energy guy, the one who got the family started and always had a solution to everyone's problems.

- He was the kit in the family, says Henrik Ölvebo.

Niklas died on November 20, 2018 when he received an excavator during a valve change in Koskullskulle in Gällivare. It is still unclear how the accident went, and prosecutors are now waiting for the Work Environment Authority's investigation to be completed before they can take the next step.

Not one in the crowd

When we met the family at the end of January, it was only two months ago that Niklas Andersson died. But the family still wanted to tell him that he should not just become one in the statistics.

- He must not just become a 34-year-old man who died in a workplace accident. It is actually a brother, a man, a father, says Peter Andersson.
