He made the corresponding statement in an interview with American commentator Joe Rogan.

“There is no doubt that Russia will interfere in the elections. There is no doubt that America will interfere in Russian elections. No one likes to talk about it, ”RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Commenting on his position, he mentioned an article by The New York Times, which spoke of 36 examples of Russian or Soviet intervention in electoral processes over 50 years and 81 cases of US interference in elections.

Earlier, the head of the Commission of the Council for the Protection of State Sovereignty Andrei Klimov said that the United States, together with their supporters, sought to influence the elections to the Moscow City Duma, including by supporting provocations.

Russian officials have repeatedly denied allegations of attempts to interfere in the election campaigns of other states.
