SK opened a case after the death of a Kaliningrader from burns in the police department

Investigators opened a criminal case on the death of a 36-year-old man who received severe burns with boiling water from a broken heating radiator in the Kaliningrad Department of Internal Affairs.

This is stated on the website of the regional branch of the UK.

“A criminal case of negligence has been opened (part 2 of article 293 of the Criminal Code of Russia),” the statement said.

According to the investigation, the police did not provide adequate control over the safe keeping, behavior and health status of the administratively detained, who was intoxicated, which ultimately led to his getting a thermal burn incompatible with life.

The department indicated that witnesses were interrogated in the criminal case, a number of forensic examinations were appointed, all the circumstances of the crime were established in detail.

Earlier it became known that the victim of burns was Ivan Vshivkov, who played for Chernyakhov’s “Progress”. The sister of the deceased footballer accused the police of the death of his brother.

In early October, the FAN reported that a criminal case was opened in Omsk on the fact of the murder of a pregnant woman.
