- The opposition parties have not received any information from the local government. But my spontaneous reaction is that she was uncomfortable. She has been objective and honest. The leading politicians have not always fallen on the lips. It didn't suit them, says Lars Lamberg (L).

Sölvesborg is governed by the Samstyret, which consists of SD, M, KD and the local SoL party. Recently, several cultural policy debates linked to the Samstyret have raged.

One example is the decision to stop purchasing what the governing municipal majority calls challenging contemporary art, or "human art", as the Swedish Democratic chairman of the Recreation and Culture Committee expressed it in an interview with SVT.

- I think it is straight-backed by Sofia Lenninger to say that this is not something I do. She has had rye in her back and dared to resist, says Lars Lamberg (L).

Is critical

The Left Party's group leader is also critical.

- I find it extremely regrettable. She has been a fantastic force for developing cultural life. But at the same time, I understand her. She has attitudes that she does not want to thumb on and then it becomes difficult for her to continue working. Then she might have to choose and it is strongly done. It shows that she is brave, says Willy Söderdahl (V).

"Has cut itself"

The Center Party group leader agrees with the criticism.

- I think it's a shame because she has done a lot and I think she could have stayed. But I do not know how they think and it is written in the stars. It has been cut in some way because the Samstyret and the culture manager are not on the same level, says Ulf Svensson (C).

"Limiting opinions"

The Social Democrats' temporary group leader is also critical.

- I do not know why this was the case, but I can only speculate that it is about her views on Samstyret's cultural policy. It is always free to have opinions but they limit this to me. What I see now is trouble finding a replacement when not so many want to go here, says Roine Olsson (S).

On Thursday, the municipal council's chairwoman Louise Erixon (SD) responded that she does not comment on a single staff matter. SVT has, without results, continued to seek her during the evening for a comment on the criticism from the opposition.
