“We don’t want to spoil the mood of Mr. (Vitaly) Klitschko, but according to weather forecasts, the weather will be warm for another week ... In addition, school holidays begin next week and there is no point in heating the empty classes,” the press service said.

Naftogaz advised to approach this issue selectively, and not to turn on heating to all consumers at once. In particular, they allow the start of heat supply to kindergartens and hospitals.

Earlier, the mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko announced the beginning of the heating season in the Ukrainian capital on October 25.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Alexey Goncharuk said that the country is ready for the heating season. At the same time, he admitted that in some localities problems may arise if a new contract for the transit of Russian gas to the European Union is not signed.
