The Leninsky District Court of Rostov-on-Don arrested for two months Vasily Dakishvili, one of the suspects in the case of a shootout at the Chernozubov farm, which killed five people. This was reported to RT by representatives of the court.
“The judge granted the request of the investigation to detain him for two months,” the district court said.
As explained by RT in the regional SK, he is charged under part 2 of art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "The murder of two or more persons." If Dakishvili’s guilt is proved, he faces a long term of imprisonment, up to life.

Dakishvili himself in court called all the charges against him a lie. According to him, he was heavily pressured and recently threatened. According to the chairman’s relatives, the man had a conflict with the Batsiev farmers over land, which ultimately ended in a shootout.
Two versions
The shootout between the Batsievs and Dakishvili took place at noon on October 22 on a deserted road connecting the Kamyshevka and Chernozubov farms. Families have been arguing for years over land for grazing. However, this time another “conversation” ended in shooting, which is now reminiscent of the huge spots of clotted blood on dusty asphalt. Who first took up arms is still unclear.
So, one of the relatives of Dakishvili Ramzan claims that the Batsiyevs started firing. According to him, he drove cattle to a watering hole when he saw several cars passing by.
“I went there. And there’s already a fight, said RT Ramzan. - I saw Batsiev’s nephew. From under the car, he took out a gun and, aiming, shot. To be honest, I, except for him, didn’t see any weapons, but the shooting was on. ”
According to the version of Dakishvili’s relatives and friends, the Batsiev brothers wanted to kill Novosyolovsky, the chairman of the SEC, to take the land, and they specially set up an ambush. However, in the state farm “Niva”, which they attacked, there was no head of the agricultural enterprise — his brother Zurab and his friends were driving in the car.
Relatives of the Batsievs say the opposite. So, a friend of the head of the family, Uvais Batsiev, Balaudi Khusikhanov, wounded in this shootout, says that Dakishvili themselves appointed them an “arrow” not far from the village of Chernozub.

“My younger brother and I went to talk with them, they (Dakishvili . - RT ) arrived in a crowd of five cars. I greeted them, said: “Maybe we’ll talk, we’ll solve everything?” But they didn’t listen to us, they started to beat us with bits, attacked us and went ... They beat us on the kidneys, on the hands, on the head, on the legs. I disconnected, and when I regained consciousness, I heard that Dakishvili was shouting. They said: "Do not talk, bring them down." As soon as two of our cars arrived, they immediately opened fire on them. Ismail [Batsiev] immediately died there, two in the ambulance died. Selimkhan [Dakishvili] then went to do control shots. All controls are only in the head, ”he recalls.
As a result of the shootout, five people died. The Batsiyevs lost three: the brothers Arbi and Idris and the nephew of Islam, and Dakishvili two: Zurab Dakishvili and another man whose identity has not yet been established, since his face is greatly disfigured.
Courts and land disputes
Immediately after the shootout, the head of the SPK Novosyolovsky, Vasily Dakishvili, was detained. Three more Dakishvili brothers: Ramzan, Malkhazi and George, according to local media, were put on the wanted list. Selimkhan, whom RT Balaudi Khusikhanov spoke about, is not among them.
However, information about a certain Dakishvili S.T. is in the database of the Oryol District Court. In 2015, the justice of the peace in court plot No. 2 of the Oryol region sentenced him to 60 hours of corrective labor for shooting two men from a traumatic gun. Whether it is about that same Selimkhan Balaudi, Khusinov found it difficult to say.
However, in the database of the Oryol District Court there is a lot of information about another lawsuit between the families of Dakishvili, Batsiev and SPK Novosyolovsky.
The lawyer of SPK Novoselovsky, Roman Kilbaukh, told RT that the collective farm was originally under the influence of the Batsyevs. After the death of his loyal chairman in 2014, the farm was headed by Vasily Dakishvili. The Batsievs, according to the lawyer, all this time wanted to regain control of the enterprise.
“The fact is that for several years in a row they made out debts to the collective farm for their family at a very high percentage - this is such a lever of pressure,” RT Kilbauch explains. - While the collective farm obeyed them, they did not recall debts. But as soon as Dakishvili became chairman, the Batsievs immediately presented loan commitments. Loans were issued at 150% per annum. Because of this, the SEC was on the verge of bankruptcy. ”
After 2017, the claims of the Batsievs, according to Kilbauch, have changed. Now it was a question of lease agreements to collective farms of lands that belonged to the Batsievs.
“The Batsiyevs bought land for which the SEC had leases until 2023,” Kilbaukh said. “But a change of ownership does not entail the cancellation of lease obligations. The Batsievs came and demanded to free the fields. They were forbidden to work, insisted that the SEC itself break off the contract. The funny thing is that they could shortly before come and take the rent. Every time the courts took our side; the Batsiev did not like it. ”
SPK accountant Evgenia Omelchenko told RT that the Batsievs often came to swear over the land.
“Therefore, we even turned to the prosecutor’s office about the occasion, there were repeated lawsuits,” says Omelchenko.
According to her, on the day of the conflict at about 9 a.m. one of the Batsievs again came to the SEC, who shouted and threatened. Then the unfortunate meeting on the country road was scheduled.
In turn, Balaudi Khusikhanov claims that, having headed the state farm, Vasily Dakishvili began to exert pressure on independent farmers.
“He became the director of the collective farm, so he began to“ set up the steps ”for everyone, he tried to take away the land so that his business would not be conducted,” Balaudi says.
"Teas drove together"
However, before the Batsievs and Dakishvili lived in peace and harmony, they celebrated holidays together.
“Now everyone says that people from the Caucasus shared Russian lands, but in fact that the Batsievs, Dakishvili have long been living here, and they are all considered local. Not to say that they weren’t spilling water, but “they were chasing teas together,” says one of the local residents, Alexander. - Moreover, Vasily Dakishvili in our settlement in the commission on interethnic relations represented the interests of the Chechen diaspora. Both families have always sponsored various sporting events and celebrations held in the village. ”

The cousin of the deceased Zurab Dakishvili, Elena Gaurgashvili, confirmed to RT that her family had previously been friends with the Batsievs. According to her, both families settled in the Rostov region for a long time, back in the 80s.
“We are Kistins (Chechens, historical residents of the Pankisi Gorge. - RT) We arrived in the Rostov region from Georgia, and the Batsievs from Achkhoy-Martan district. Previously, everything was fine between the two families. We went to the same school, were friends, - says Elena Elena. - Relations deteriorated when my relative Vasily Dakishvili headed SPK Novosyolovsky. He identified many lands that the Batsiyev illegally appropriated for himself, and he returned them to the state farm in court. Of course, they didn’t like it. ”
Farm to Farm
Dakishvili lives in several houses on the Kamyshevka farm with a population of about a thousand people. The farm has a Sberbank branch, police, a school, a kindergarten, an administration, a palace of culture, a gas station, a post office and three shops. The average salary in Kamyshevka is about 8 thousand rubles. The main local enterprise is SPK Novosyolovsky.
According to the workers of the SEC, because of the conflict between the Dakishvili and the Batsiev, they got it. Tractor driver Valery Ponomarev says that the day before the shooting, the Batsiev drove him out of the field.
“The chairman, Vasily Dakishvili, sent me to cultivate the land,” he tells RT. - I’m coming, Ilyas Batsiev comes up to me and says that this is their territory and I can’t work here. I see a peg driven in, but how do I know whose border it is? I am a simple man, a worker, took and left. What are my questions? I don’t understand the legal subtleties. ”
According to Vasily, there was no aggression on the part of the Batsievs.
“If they swore, then only among themselves. The rest of the farmers were not concerned, ”says Ponomarev’s colleague Maxim Berezhnoy. - But they drove away from the fields. For example, in 2017, we then came to harvest wheat. ”
The estate of the Batsievs is located about 10 km on the Blacktooth Farm. They live in several solid houses, in front of which is agricultural machinery. After the shootout, fighters of the Russian Guard are also on duty here. But the Batsievs themselves, according to local residents, are not. All the men went to the funeral of their deceased relatives in Chechnya.
The Batsyev worker Oleg Shmatov, who moved to the Rostov Region a year ago from Ukraine, described the Batsyevs as trouble-free land owners.
“For Arbi Batsiev, I’ll say that he’s a normal man,” says Shmatov. - There were no problems with him. There are few people working on the household. Land - two thousand hectares, there is equipment and livestock. I work, they pay me money regularly. ”
However, those locals who do not work for either the Dakishvili or the Batsievs try not to take sides.
“Women feel sorry for them,” says RT Julia, a saleswoman at a store. - They lost their loved ones, although they themselves are not to blame and can not influence the situation. I have known both families for a long time. I studied together with Misha Dakishvili, and our relations were always good. No one expected this turn. It’s a pity that it happened. ”
According to Yulia, there are many farmers in Kamyshevka, not only Caucasians, and everyone lives peacefully and amicably.
“In the 40 years that I have lived on a farm, a similar incident arose for the first time,” she says.
