President Moon Jae-in presides over the Education Reform Ministerial Meeting for the first time since taking office today (25th). Three days ago, we are expected to discuss overall reforms of the entrance examination system, including an increase in the proportion of time that Moon mentioned in the National Assembly's speech.

President Moon Jae-in convened the first ministerial meeting on education.

The name of the meeting is attended by the Ministers for Education and Reform, the Ministry of Education and Information, the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Minister of Small and Medium Venture Business.

Three days ago, at the National Assembly's speech, President Moon said that it is unfair in education that the people are most pained.

As a result, today's meeting will discuss not only increasing the proportion of time, but also reforming the entrance examination system, including a supplementary plan for student division.

Of particular interest, the Cheong Wa Dae official said the discussion will be based on the results of a public opinion survey issued by the National Education Council's reorganization committee.

At the time, the overtime weight gain was the most supported in the survey.

The ministry said today's meetings will be reflected in plans to strengthen the impartiality of the loan system, scheduled for next month.
