The Federal Tax Service (FTS) will oblige companies to pay insurance premiums and personal income tax for self-employed citizens who work instead of full-time employees. This, as RIA Novosti reports, during a meeting of the State Duma, said Finance Minister Anton Siluanov.

According to him, the Federal Tax Service sees all those enterprises that "are trying to take self-employed instead of full-time employees."

In this regard, the Minister pointed out, it was agreed that during 2019 special inspections of such enterprises will not be carried out, and liability measures for such full-time employees will also not be introduced.

“And from next year this restriction will be removed. And from next year, the tax service will count if the self-employed provides services to only one enterprise, insurance premiums and, accordingly, income tax, ”he said.

As Siluanov noted, 240 thousand people are currently self-employed in Russia, 90% of whom previously worked “in the gray.”

Since 2019, in four regions of Russia (Moscow, Moscow Region, Kaluga Region and Tatarstan), a self-employed tax has been applied in an experimental format.

Earlier, the speaker of the Federation Council, Valentina Matvienko, advocated distributing the corresponding tax to all of Russia.

As Siluanov emphasized, it is necessary to determine the list of professions where you can use the tax regime for the self-employed.

Inkazan.ru. It was reported that the number of registered self-employed in Tatarstan exceeded 37 thousand.
