The training is three-year and college preparatory and will focus on the behavior of dogs, dog breeds, care, health care and diseases.

The students will also be graduated via the Swedish Kennel Club. After the training, for example, the students should be able to work as a dog trainer, as a dog daycare staff, pet keeper in a clinic or pet store staff.

- Students get an education where after graduation there are great chances of getting a job. Today, dog is not just a hobby but an industry that is growing at a rapid pace, says Vice President Josefin Eriksson in a press release.

Realgymnasiet has previously had dog training in Linköping and in 15 other locations in the country.
