Marine Le Pen does not see what the new president of the Republicans, Christian Jacob, who presented Wednesday the new leadership of the party, "bring novelty to LR" as he embodies "the Old World".
"I do not see (who) could (...) in the political position of Mr. Jacob, change the situation for LR by the presidential election," said the leader of the far right before the Association of Parliamentary Journalists (Ajp). She does not see "what Christian Jacob would bring in terms of novelty, reconstruction at LR".
Mr. Jacob, who took over from Laurent Wauquiez, resigned after the party's debacle in the European elections, "is + the Old World +." He is the former UMP (now LR), the one who is still at the seeking agreements with the center, "added the President of the National Gathering.
The Republicans "do not want to choose, they try to maintain, with bad glue, people who, in reality, together would be ready to vote radically differently," said Marine Le Pen, MPP Pas-de-Calais .
