Al-Rai Detainees Account, which deals with the rights of detainees in Saudi Arabia, said that the authorities arrested the sheikh of Otaiba tribe Faisal bin Sultan bin Jahjah bin Humaid.
The account - in a tweet on Twitter - that the arrest of Sheikh Faisal came on the back of tweets in which he criticized the entertainment authority through its president Turki Al-Sheikh, calling for entertainment to be in a logical and acceptable manner without prejudice to the essence of religion and constants.
The account of the prisoners of conscience indicated that Sheikh Faisal was forced to delete his tweets after his arrest. He pointed out that Sheikh was arrested last year for a short period of time for criticizing the living conditions in the Kingdom.
On the other hand, authorities summoned the popular poet Safar al-Dghailbi for questioning because of a poem that included indirect criticism of the Al-Sheikh, according to the account of prisoners of conscience.
Two days ago, authorities arrested the poet Hamoud bin Qasi al-Subaie and video designer Consul bin Subaie, on the back of a video criticizing the practices of the head of entertainment also.
