“Yesterday (October 21, 2019 - RT ), President Donald Trump approved the allocation of $ 4.5 million as direct support to the White Helmets as a continuation of the US support for the organization’s important and very valuable work in the country,” the White House said in a statement.
In February, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced that the Russian side was working to debunk the myth of Western intelligence agencies about the "exclusively humanitarian activities" of the White Helmets organization.
The Foreign Ministry noted that the White Helmets are affiliated with terrorist groups.
In July, some Western media outlets, in particular France 24, citing representatives of White Helmets reported that the Russian aerospace forces allegedly hit the market in Syria.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has denied this report, saying that it is false.
