Erdogan also announced that he will discuss with Putin a withdrawal of Kurdish forces from areas controlled by the Syrian regime.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned Tuesday that the offensive in northern Syria would resume "with greater determination", due to a withdrawal of Kurdish forces before 19:00 GMT.

"The process (of truce) ends today at 22:00 (19:00 GMT) .If the promises made by the Americans are not respected, the operation will resume with greater determination," said Erdogan before fly to Russia for a crucial meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
