After the inspection, the owners were instructed to clean and ensure that there were no pests left.

- They were given the opportunity to cook in other rooms and to only use the kitchen for hot storage and storage, says Johanna Hänninen, who is the unit manager at the food unit.

"It was old red buzz"

The innkeepers showed how they sealed again some cavities in the kitchen where the rats would come in and that the rats were therefore old. This in turn means that the food unit indicates that the cleaning was not sufficient and that new pests could not be detected.

- There were a lot of things in the room which made it difficult to monitor pests, says Johanna Hänninen

Opens under supervision

The restaurant was closed on Thursday, but reopened on Tuesday morning after another visit from the food unit - which will continue to keep the restaurant under surveillance.

- We're not ready to release right yet, says Johanna Hänninen.

Extra controls have been put in place until it is judged that the restaurant is able to maintain the hygiene itself.
