It is the second day since Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon went to Japan to attend the crowning ceremony of King Naruhito. Today (23rd), we will meet with Japanese political and financial leaders during the day, and in the evening we will attend a dinner hosted by Prime Minister Abe.

Prime Minister Lee Nak-yeon attended the Royal Banquet hosted by King Naruhito last night.

Prime Minister Lee congratulated the King, "I wish the Japanese people to be happier in Rei and the new era."

Earlier this afternoon, he attended the monarchy held in Tokyo's Whangan yesterday, and offered a tribute to the righteous memorial to the late Lee Soo-hyun, a symbol of friendship between Korea and Japan.

Today, we are scheduled to meet Japanese from all walks of life including major political and business leaders.

Following a breakfast meeting with members of the Korean-Japanese Clinic Federation, we will have a conversation with Keio University students.

In the afternoon, we will meet with the representatives of each party and former Prime Minister Mori, and in the evening we will attend a dinner hosted by Abe and his colleagues.

After a brief greeting, Lee meets with Abe tomorrow morning.

It's not a long meeting, but as Moon Jae-in's profession is handed down, it is important to see if it will be a significant opportunity to resolve the conflict between Korea and Japan.

If the two countries seek compromises over issues such as reimbursement, economic retaliation, and military information protection agreements, we can expect a summit meeting within the year, but there are still many prospects that it is not easy to reach an agreement in a short time.
