Near the village of Vinnivka in the Samara region discovered an old ship. It is located at the bottom of the Volga - at a depth of 10 meters. Analysis of the wood showed that the boat can date back to the second half of the 14th – beginning of the 15th centuries, that is, the ship sank when the Volga region was not yet part of Russia. Specialists have to determine the purpose of the ship and the state to which it belonged. Already there are suggestions that the ship could be of Asian, Scandinavian or Western European origin.
