Police found the child on October 18 after a local resident reported. Packages with things and food were found next to the child.
“On this fact, the investigative department in the city of Yakutsk SUSK of Russia in Yakutia is undergoing a procedural check,” the department said.
The child was examined by medical workers. He was taken to a city specialized children's home.
It is noted that the grandmother of the baby living outside Yakutia responded to the messages. Law enforcement authorities establish the whereabouts of the mother.
