Tunisian President-elect Kais Said on Monday declared his property before being sworn in on Wednesday.

Said declared his property with the National Anti-Corruption Authority, a prerequisite before he assumed his duties as president.

"I will remain as I am as before and as I am today and when I also leave the presidency," said the new president, who has already announced his gains when running for president.

He also pledged to be tough in fighting corruption and to introduce initiatives in this area.
