“The ability of the cruiser to threaten the enemy’s most important targets with hypersonic missiles at extreme distances of 400 km for an airplane and 1 thousand km for ships ... makes the Admiral Nakhimov the most dangerous warship of the Russian Navy,” the report said.
The publication notes that the cruiser will be equipped with the Zircon anti-ship missile, which surpasses the main American Harpoon missile in characteristics.
In addition, Admiral Nakhimov will receive a wide arsenal of cruise missiles and an upgraded air defense system.
