Olympique de Marseille breathes a little better victory (2-0) against Strasbourg Sunday and goes back to 5th place in League 1 after the 10th day, just before going to Paris.

Not what to do. After four games without success, this second win at home of the season allows OM to quell doubts and stay two points from 2nd place, occupied by Nantes, in favor of a very tight championship.

An early goal scored by Boubacar Kamara (3rd) was enough, before a penalty late in the game (90 + 5) transformed by Kevin Strootman, but Marseille did not shine in the rain, even if the Phocaeans have hit twice the amounts.

The most important in the standings are perhaps the six lengths ahead of Lyon, competitor for the podium despite its very slow start to the season.

OL, 17th, will be highly anticipated at the Vélodrome on November 10 with his new coach, Rudi Garcia, who knows the house well ...

Behind, Strasbourg, last after this defeat, would not have said no to a sluggish victory. But Racing was too content to keep the ball alive, with possession slightly higher than that of OM (53%).

- Radonjic on the bar -

The danger is not too big, the classification is tight down too and the Alsatians are only a victory of 12th place. But they will need less purring their football.

OM did just a little better to win this game. But the attacking trio was a little inside.

Dario Benedetto was not in a big night, but he got the final penalty, hooking Mohamed Simakan on a cons. The Alsatian defender cut the Argentinian, and Strootman, in the absence of Dimitri Payet, shot.

Among the other strikers, Valère Germain was too isolated and Nemanja Radonjic too greedy in hooks and inefficient.

Too bad, because when the Serb played fast, he almost hit the mark.

There was his subtle heelade for Duje Caleta-Car who was on board, the powerful strike of the Croatian defender crashing on the post (20th).

Then Radonjic sent a nice volley on the bar (55th).

Most of the time, the game was a bit slow on both sides. However, with each acceleration of the OM, the danger has sharpened.

But the Olympians have poorly negotiated against, as shot after blow Maxime Lopez (44th) and Benedetto (45th).

- Kamara is celebrating his return -

In the second half, OM was no longer really dangerous, except for a shot by Saif-Eddine Khaoui (70), or on a ball conquered by Benedetto but saved by Lamine Koné just ahead of Lopez ( 76th).

Finally, fortunately for the Marseillais, they managed their start. André Villas-Boas regretted that his team conceded too often the first goal? This time, she scored on her first action, by Kamara.

The defender went on a Benedetto free kick and exploited Stroomman's well-timed setback to beat Matz Sels with the involuntary complicity of Ludovic Ajorque.

One of the favorites of the Vélodrome celebrated in a good way his return of three suspension matches. And this time, the speaker was busy to make noise on his goal. His very first under the colors of Olympians, he had signed last season during the sad behind closed against Bordeaux (1-0) ...

"Bouba" will have a momentum match for the shock against PSG. His usual partner, Alvaro Gonzalez, should be handed over from his crack to the fibula but will be completely fasting, just like Dimitri Payet, his four purging matches purged.

But OM has at least put in the right direction before moving to the Parc des Princes.
