Despite some fears, Inter Milan remained in contact with Juventus by winning 4-3 on the lawn of Sassuolo Sunday at the 8th day of Serie A, which also confirmed the difficulties of its neighbor, the AC Milan, held in check by Lecce (2-2).

While Inter led 4-1, the game seemed absolutely under control for the Milanese and Antonio Conte could even start substitutes, like Politano or Lazaro, who had not yet played in the league this season.

But the Nerazzurri have in fact completely lost the thread of the game, allowing Djuricic (74th) then Boga (81st) to relaunch Sassuolo, then back to 4-3. The locals still had several chances but Inter finally saved his three points.

The Milanese, second, are relaunched after two consecutive defeats (Barcelona in the Champions League and Juventus in Serie A) and return to a length of the Old Lady, who beat Saturday Bologna (2-1).

Before this late scramble match, Inter had been very convincing, including his attack, who had fun in the middle of the complacent defense of Sassuolo.

Lautaro Martinez (2nd and 71st) and Lukaku (38th and 45th) each scored twice, each time with a goal in the game and a penalty.

Just before the one managed by the Belgian striker, a paratrooper landed in the middle of the lawn of Mapei Stadium. He was evacuated quickly and without difficulty.

For its part, AS Roma took only one point (0-0) on the field of Sampdoria Genoa, red flag of the championship.

More than this draw, their fourth already this season, the Romans regret the wounds of Cristante and Kalinic, who come to lengthen an already long list of physical glitches this season.

In place of Kalinic, it is Dzeko who came in, the face protected by a mask after being himself a victim of a fractured cheekbone 15 days ago. To make matters worse, Kluivert was expelled late in the game.

The match was also marked by shouts of monkey thrown by Roman tifosi towards the English midfielder of Sampdoria, Ronaldo Vieira.

The club giallorosso apologized to the player on Twitter, promising to support "the authorities in the process of identification and, consequently, to ban the individuals responsible for these racist insults".

Roma is 6th in the standings, overtaken by Cagliari, who beat Spal 2-0. Sampdoria remain on their last side, but this point is encouraging for Claudio Ranieri, the new coach of the Genoese team.

Stefano Pioli also had to settle for a point for his debut with AC Milan, but he will probably not find the same satisfaction as Ranieri. Because it was at home and by promoted Lecce that Milan was held in check (2-2).

Milan side, who remains 12th, the best man of the game was Calhanoglu, author of a magnificent goal for the opening of the score and a class action to serve Piatek on the goal of 2-1. But Lecce came back each time, first on a penalty from Babacar and then, in extra time, thanks to a terrible strike from Calderoni.

Monday, The 8th day will end with a duel between Brescia Balotelli and Fiorentina Ribery.
